So I am totally new here and am not sure if this should go in the first generation forum or the towing one. However, I have a '99 tacoma and I have just put a camper shell on the back. I will be doing quite a bit of camping this summer in the sierras and wanted to bring my mountain bikes with me. I do not have a trailer hitch and was wondering if anyone else had the same problem. It's a V4 so I don't really plan on towing with the hitch, I just need something to put a bike rack into. Any ideas?

If you are not ever going to tow, you can get one of these and it should work to hold a bike rack with up to 4 bikes I should think:
