Really? Why have two I wonder?

Coolant cooled oil cooler does make more sense than air cooled IMO. If its cold out, don't want your oil staying cold and thick.

Check for three things being the oil cooler, tranny cooler, 27f battery, and yes the 7pin connector is another give away.

Tranny cooler and 7pin are def there. But there is really no question now since I entered the VIN on Toyota's site and it say the v6 tow package was installed from factory.

The best cooling circuits have both types.

Mistype? An ATF cooler and trans fluid cooler are the same thing.

On a 3rd Gen no 27F Battery, they all get 24F

Look at the window sticker, call your dealership parts Dept and have them run the Vin. You buy a truck and don't know. Ok, yes you have a tow package, was that quick enough!

This thread was answered the day it started... Read before you post. Of course I was told it had the tow package but I wanted to check with my own eyes.

I did and I will post regardless of what you think. Why ask when you want to check with your own eyes?

I only found this about my truck on Toyota.com

Doesn't say anything about a tow package.

Can someone please explain why a manual transmission needs a transmission cooler?

When I read people’s threads and responses I often wonder if they have any clue as to anything mechanical. If people had any knowledge of how things worked certain questions would never get asked.

Now back to the manual transmission cooler. Can anyone with any knowledge of the differences of how auto and manual trani’s work explain how and why a stick generates enough heat that it needs cooling?

Because you have 2018, which was the first year that the tow package became standard. It was an add on for 2016 and 2017
