Has anybody setup their 2016 Tacoma to be towed behind an RV? I need hidden mounting information to attach a Blue OX tow bar. Either a nice hidden base plate or how to mount the adaptors is what I think I need. Maybe winch mount? Open to all advise. Thanks

I like using tow Dolley's. You can put truck on backwards and not worry about sand blasting the front window of truck while being towed.

Cost would be about the same as fabbing up tow bar anchors on the truck. To me it seems to be less hassle.

Yea, I guess that's another option and never thought about towing backwards. Trying avoid extra weight and hassle of having to deal with dolly. Currently I pull a 2006 behind my rig. A minor pain is having to drop the driveshaft which dollys would eliminate.

I build and sell trailers, yet I still prefer using a tow dolly.
You can actually tow larger vehicles with a smaller tow vehicle quite safely using a dolley. They are just so handy to have around.

You will need to pull the rear drive shaft since the t-case doesn't have nuetral

Even if loaded backwards? Don't have a '16, so don't know if front diffy is disconnected.

Op said all 4 down. Doesn't matter which direction it's pulled, but rear driveshaft needs pulled if rear wheels are on the ground

Hence, loaded backwards on a tow dolly, no DS removal needed.

I'm aware of no neutral in transfer case. I already drop the drive shaft now on my 2006 taco. A dolly needs licensed registered with yearly fee in Ohio. That's probably more of a hassle for me than dropping drive shaft.
