So looking to be moving across country, maybe georgia, from Colorado probably around December.

I have a 2012 Double Cab w/ off road package. It will be lifted and on 285/70/17 by this time

I have put the vehicles on the Uhaul page and it says it is not recommended.

There is nothing stopping me from driving both, just would prefer to tow it if at all possible/safe

I also do not want to add anything else to the truck because I will not be doing any other towing.

    What do you guys think?

If your towing the jeep behind your taco you should be fine. I see you have a manual so ou don't have to worry about much

You WILL need to add a brake controller.

Buy a flat bed trailer and then resell it when you arrive at your destination. It'll be cheaper, possibly free, in the end and you'll have a better and lighter trailer. You'll need a dual axle 8x12 or similar.

Guess a little update is needed. I appreciate the input. Now it will be a 2011 Subaru Legacy, so I am not worried about it at all. Really appreciate the help. Thank you.
