It should be rated to pull around 6,400 lbs with the V6. You should be fine.

I would think a Tacoma would pull your boat just fine

It might be able to pull it and launch it, but it might not have the balls to pull it out of the water.

I can't recommend buying a Tacoma to two that big of a boat. The MPG is going to be full size numbers

My old 2012 base 4x4 4 cyl Auto pulls a 18' Pontoon no problems !! Including no ramp launch and retrievals. I do suggest the 4x4 for non ramp usage ... Of Course, with my 4 cyl I did know it was always behind me and uphill required more pedal. I never did long highway trips.

To answer your question you really need an accurate weight of the boat, weight including motor, full tank of gas and other misc equipment. In addition add the trailer weight on to all that. You are probably within the max weight limits but the more weight you have the less pleasurable and more hassle it is to tow. You’d be better off with a bigger truck but you are probably ok with what you have.

I had an F150 for a long time. Traded it in for a 2018 Tacoma Sport. My F150 was pulling my 2018 Tracker Targa 19 boat (about 25' total length and weights about 3900lbs) easily. But I was only getting like 9mpg due to the mountain area I live in. My Tacoma pulls the same boat with no issues and I am getting like 17mpg. My Tacoma does everything I did in my F-150, but with much better gas mileage overall.

    Window tint count?
Did you ever get one? My boat is close to the specs you asked about and my truck does fine. Trailer brakes on both trailer axles and I averaged 12mpg on my trip back home with it. F5CC1AAA-D14E-4716-A53C-CF7E6E42B839.jpg
