This is still in the river but in an area where I can get my bass boat to. It's loaded with grass and big largemouth, around May you can throw a frog and the explosion on the bait gives you a feeling that no drug can ever do.

So back on subject, this is my boat and my wife's 4Runner hooked up to it, not sure why but it seemed like a load on the 4Runner with the 4.0. When I first got the Tacoma I honestly thought it would be more like the 4Runner but it pulls a lot better. I think the 3.5 has more HP but maybe less torque, but not by much. Regardless, I was really happy with the results with the Tacoma. It's not going to pull like the Tundra but good enough that I'm seriously thinking about selling the Tundra, plus I'm wanting another Land Cruiser and could use it for long trips when I pull the boat. It's just a pain to launch a boat by yourself out of an SUV. I can launch and load my boat by myself with a pickup but would have to crawl through an SUV if the water was too cold to get in. I'm too damn old and overweight to be crawling over seats.
