Cayman R or a GT4. An S would be adequate though. Lol

I've just always had a place in my heart as a Porsche for a dream car.

I wanted one when I was 12 and first heard one. Wife always said “ no, they aren’t practical... wait til the kids are out of the house...”. Then one day out of the blue, she asked if I wanted one. I didn’t let her get a chance to change her mind. It was in the garage 2 days later. The kids love it.

I love my truck and get lots of use out of it but damn I want something fun. I've ridden motorcycles all my life and there really isn't any car that can compare. My kids are about to start going to prom, it would be cool if they went in the Porsche, the one I have been looking at is a 6 speed so they will learn the near lost talent of driving by feel.

My daughter tried to get me to let her drive it to school.....not a chance. “ but Dad... I’ll have the coolest car in school.” I don’t trust the other kids to not screw it up somehow. I told her she could have it when I’m dead.

I used to drive my dads corvette in high school and never messed it up. That's what insurance is for, we only live once.

Yeah... they don’t buy insurance either. So....still “ No “. I know. I’m a dick but I’ve wanted that car since I was 12 and the wife might not go for a replacement.

No. That’d be a 200k$ car if it was. Mines only worth about 50k or 60k. If you want to drool, go look at Singer Porsche. They totally update the 964 body to today’s standards but make it look like a 70’s car. Absolutely beautiful cars. If you have 500k, one could be yours after a few years wait.

It’s a 3.6 with about 250hp. It goes way faster than I need to go. I accidentally caught myself doing 140 on the freeway one Sunday morning on the way to work. My hands got instantly sweaty but the car was just humming along, not even trying.

The one I've got eyes on is 295 hp and 170 top speed. Not even trying all that just mid life crisis shit.

Am I missing something? Toyota says my DCSB OR can tow 6400lbs and up to a 640lb tongue weight. So if it’s less than that it should be ok... it’s no powerhouse but it’ll get your boat to he water. I tow a camper with mine. About 4000lbs and NOT aerodynamic. It actually isn’t great but certainly does it. No issues at all with smaller stuff.
