    Leaning towards the same year 2011 TRD 4 door long box if the dealer will sell it reasonably. Then I will swap over whatever I want from my truck. If it happens this truck has served me well and Im glad I got it over the V6. The gas savings and the cheaper price was worth it until now over 5 years later

    Good luck with whatever choice you make. My friend has the same truck as what you're looking at. Very nice. Maneuverabilty will be a little less than what you have now.

    To be honest I dont drive the truck much anymore anyways. I picked up a little Yaris for driving around. The truck is just for weekends and stuff now

    I just dont want to spend anymore money on a truck unless its buying a new 2016. But the more I look into it the V6 has even a lower GVWR to where I dont think I can tow the camper and ATV at the same time anyways.
    ATV = 825lbs or so
    Trailer hitch weight = 380lbs
    Me = 185lbs
    Girlfriend = 105lbs
    Fuel = 60-70lbs half tank
    -
    Thats almost 1600 when you factor any other small things in. Too high over the 1200lbs or so limit. I think I need to look at buying a half ton 2wd cheaper truck to use for camping and stuff and keep this Tacoma for regular driving

    Test drove the new 16 4 door TRD and the 16 Tundra today. My God I think I might go with a tundra, forgot how awesome a full size truck is.
    Also my brother has a 2016 access cab v6 and we tested out towing my camper today. I was not overly impressed to be honest. Pulled it but not as easy as I had hoped. With the camper at about 3200 lbs it felt like it was close to the max of the towing. Easier then the 4 cylinder for sure, but not as easy as I had thought with a 6500+ lbs max rating

    Nice rig wondering what you decided. I think I would just regear in that situation.

    Just keeping the truck for now. I'm not going for a new v6 I don't think because my brother bought one and we tried towing my camper and honestly it was not a big enough difference to drop a lot of money into. If I buy new I'm getting a Tundra as of right now. But after a few more tows camping I'm use to it and it's not as bad as I first throught. Also have a distribution hitch to install soon and see how it feels with that
