    That was refreshing to read.

My only hangup is the WDH on the Ridgeline. Honda says don't, many do anyway. My assumption (yah, I know... assumptions) was the Taco would take a WDH w/ no issues at all, spread the tongue load more even, and allow me to throw my crap in the back of the truck w/ little reservation.

Maybe I should just get a fairly tame WDH for the truck I have and say screw it.

They probably say no WDH because of the uni-body on frame design. A WDH puts a lot of stress on the frame of the tow vehicle. If you're worried about the truck sagging, I'd look to see if you can find some means of load support for the rear suspension. I'm not sure what's available for the Ridgeline, if anything. Maybe extended bump stops like Timbrens?

Either the Tacoma or the Ridgeline should be able to tow 3500 lbs with ease.

It pulls it no problem. I mean, it revs high (its a Honda) but it pulls it fine. Its the ass sag I'm bothered by. I'm within specs, but it doesn't feel 'comfortable'.

The entire sentence, in context, says otherwise. You can't pick half a sentence to make an argument...

    You got it.

And let's all be honest Tacomas are better! This is a Tacoma forum you know we're all biased!

Just put heavier coils under it and be done with it. Tacomas will sag too without some help too.

    :spy: where's ridgelineworld.com.. I guess there isn't one
