I was towing my enclosed trailer and the pigtail on my truck got pinched and the wires were exposed. My truck doesn't have tail lights any longer. I checked the fuses and they're all good. I've included 3 pictures of my tail lights and the wiring configuration on them. Can someone help determine what could be the cause of my tail lights not working? Is the taillight LED gone bad?

    Thanks for the help.

Assuming your TAIL fuse is good?

Unplug that converter box and plug your lights back in the stock plugs and see what you have, those converter boxes aren't known for being all that reliable.

You pinched the trailer wires to the exposed copper it probably shorted and blew the tail fuse.

Ok, I have disconnected the towing boxes and plugged in the factory plugs eliminating them and I still have no tail lights. I have directionals, brake lights and backup lights but no tail lights. I have checked the fuses and they appear to be ok. I even checked them with an ohm meter and they test good.

    1. Could it be the LED tail lights went bad on both sides? Please help.

Check if you have power on both sides of the TAIL fuse with the tail lights on.

No tail lights or license plate lights. Please help!!!! I've checked the 30 amp fuse and it's good I've removed the converter boxes and still no luck. I have directionals, back up lights and brake lights. I've exhausted everything I can think of.

You need to check the TAIL Fuse 10 AMP inside the truck behind the change tray on the left side of the steering wheel.

Pull the change tray out of the dash and you will see the fuse panel in the hole.

Take the 10A TAIL fuse out and check Resistance (ohms) between the two blades of the fuse. You cannot always verify with a visual inspection alone
