i got an aftermarket bumper mount towing receiver for my truck for christmas. havent installed it yet. the one thing i noticed is when i run the bolts through the bumper, i cant place the plastic caps back on top. i noticed on toyota's webpage with their towing kit they have caps that are taller and replace the old caps. heres a pic of what im talkin about

anyone know if there is a part number just for those two caps so i can order them?

I found that I was able to grind the caps where they were hitting, (on my '09),and they fit back on. Any Toyota dealer should be able to order the caps for you.

Yeah--when I installed my Valley hitch, I cut back the "X" plastic on the bottom of the caps until they would install without interfering with the head of the bolt. Problem solved...
