Hey guys. Question. Have a 2007 toyota tacoma. Driving from new mexico to the top of idaho for my wedding and was going to bring a trailer there to tow back my 93 toyota pickup wich (from what i have researched) weighs about 3500 lbs. The trailer im taking weighs anywhere from 2000 to 2500. I know that my truck has oil and transmission coolers and says my tow capacity is 6500 lbs. The drive is 1500 miles and about 24-26 hours. Im just curious if driving all the way through, is it going to take a toll on my truck or do ya all think it will do ok? Thanks guys!

A few additions to make me feel cool.
Stay out of overdrive and you should be okay. You might want to try and look for a little lighter trailer. Also would be worth it to install and electric brake controller if the trailer is equipped with its own brakes. Take it easy and the truck will survive but it's gonna be a long trip and you will get horrible mileage. It might be worth it to rent a moving truck and trailer. Send me a PM for a little trick when using Penske to get around paying for mileage.
