    Suggest OP visit a RV website, like RV.NET. Some things to consider :
    Weigh your trailer - fully loaded ready to travel.
    Measure your tongue weight.
    With travel trailers, a tongue weight of 15% or so is suggested, for a boat, more like 10% (most boats are rear heavy).
    Consider how you load your trailer for travel. If you are tongue-heavy, see if you can move some of the trailer contents to the rear, or vice versa if tongue-light. Also if trailer is heavy, carry less fresh water.
    Next step would be air bags or a weight-distributing hitch.
