I was determined to buy a gauge to monitor trans temps. I tow quite a few smaller trailers, but after my first few tows of our new travel trailer…I don’t really want to know. I’ll just service fluid more often and pray.

I think we may need to talk more about that S/C. Even if I convince the wife to buy a Suburban, a little extra juice never hurts. Did they provide you with the Tune? My tuner says Magnuson won’t let him touch their software.

OP is telling us that it IS the power that annoys him...

If you have another tow vehicle you can use then sell now [high] and buy a new Tundra with forced induction in 2022.

I'm kicking myself about now for selling my cherry '95 Lexus SC300 5spd to fund the Taco twin turbo kit as it's ~13 months later and STILL waiting for it to ship.

Magnuson provides a locked tune that is flashed via Ov software. It was a really easy process and I did the install myself in little under 10 hours. I’m sure in the near future there will be fuel pump upgrades and software that will support more power.

Like others have said, you have the wrong tools for the job. Selecting a Raptor will piss you off even more (tow rating of 6K for a CC). I really like the Raptor and some of my buddies have them. We toss the factory shocks away, put some Radflo/King/ADS/Fox shocks on, 5 star tuning and wow.

If it were me, I would put bury the little mans syndrome and get a 2022 Tundra and be safe. Having loads of power doesn't make a tow rig good. There are a "few" more things that make that happen. @hiPSI said it perfectly in post #19. I tow a bit too....

The past two weeks I have towed 145K lbs of boulders from 70 miles away in mountain passes. AC on, CC on, TH mode engaged, exhaust brake on....no sweat.

Lol I just hauled 1700 lbs... in the bed with rock in the Tundra. Much smaller than yours but in a pallet with chicken wire holding rocks. We paid by the pound which is why I know lol. Full size just tow better and dually tows even better and Kenworth tows even better...

These past two weeks I wish a Kenworth was in use....

I like the pallet backstop. Good idea.

Unintentional for sure. I had boulders on those as well, but I had to back off due to weight and the incoming weather. This was on Valentines Day 2021 and the ol' ladies gift. It was -7*F and a blizzard/cold spell coming in fast. Being in the mountains coming east bound on I-70 was interesting once the snow hit. Glad I took the extra 3500 lbs off.
