    Would like to buy tt, but not sure on what is safe to pull with my tacoma.
    I have a 2007 sr5 dc sb "non tow package", but do have factory installed hitch & 4 pin. Looking at 18'-22' campers with dry weights of 3000-3500 lbs. Would be installing brake controller, trans. cooler, already have 7 pin adaptor. Read towing bible.

    See this thread...lot of advice about what you can legally tow...

    Technically you are unable to legally tow more than 3500 lbs due to the rating on the truck, regardless of what you bolt/add on.
