    The cheapest I've found is RockAuto's $1400 ($2,500 w/o core charge) and that's much more than I'm willing to spend right now.

    I'm going to pull the battery later and load test each one. I'm planning on just replacing individual cells which is just a bunch of 'D' batteries surprisingly wired in series. I can get them on eBay for ones than $200.

    Waiting for my high voltage lineman gloves to come in first. No way in hell im touching that hybrid battery without protection.

    Don't cut any orange wiring. That's all high voltage.it will ruin your day. The insides of the battery packs are a trip.all those lil batteries in series like that.i worked on a muni buses battery pack. Like 7000 d cells.

    I'm hoping it's as easy as a couple dead cells. That being said my local p&p has the same car so I might take my chances at using that battery.
