    OEM are still available, a dealer was able to drop ship to my home avoiding shipping call around. They are still around.

    QFT. Towing capacity/payload of these trucks is not all that impressive to begin with (shit, I used to drive a Caprice and then a Crown vic and both were rated at 5,000# towing, same as my truck), but if the frame is compromised towing is the last thing you'd want to think about.

    I've towed plenty with my truck. They're relatively capable, and I'm capped at 3,500.
