How many of you tow with your Brute Force rear plate bumper? Do you feel like the hidden hitch mount will support close to the truck's towing capabilities? I really like the look of this bumper with the swing away tire carrier but I do occasionally tow with my truck and am concerned about a loss of safe towing capacity due to the unrated hitch mount.

I don't have a bruteforce bumper but i do have a bumper by ATO. I've towed up to 5000 lbs without issue. Of course its not rated, but looking how well built this bumper is i personally don't worry about it.

While it is unrated..I have the regular bumper and I would say its as strong as the original. It is welded extremely well. I have yet to get a trailer to test it though. It's unrated cause he doesn't want to pay $10,000 to do so. Lol

Yea, I don't blame him. I don't think any aftermarket rear bumper is rated...

Thanks for the input! I understand the unrated meaning it just hasn't been tested. Some of the other brand plate bumpers that have the hitch mount welded under the bumper look way more stable than the oem receiver. I just hadn't seen the amount of bracing around one of the hidden hitch mounts.

Thanks neonlazer. That is some serious bracing for sure.
