Looking at a travel trailer with an unloaded weight of 5200lbs. Is this acceptable with an 09 TRD sport?
Do all TRD sport have a tow package?

No & no. I would try to keep it at 4000lbs only if you have factory tow. That 5000 lbs most likely does include thinks like nat gas cylinders, batteries, water, and other stuff you will put in the trailer. Short trips on flat land and you will be OK with tow pkg.

What is your definition of acceptable?
Does it just mean that your truck won't snap in half? Or does it mean that you want to have an enjoyable towing experience?

A trailer that heavy probably won't be very enjoyable to tow with a midsized truck, but you could probably do it without snapping the truck in half.
