    i have 2017 tacoma with towing package 2wd. rated to pull up to 6700lbs. looking at buying c-19 lite hybrid rv 2005 that 19ft and dry weight is 2900lbs and double axle. i plan on pulling thru moutains mainly in colorado for next 2 yrs is there any issues with that as i am new to towing with v6. use to have full size truck and considering upgrading prior to getting the trailer if my truck cant handle it. also what exactly is purpose of ect power.

    Your truck can handle it as long as you are not in a hurry. Take your time, remember that you are not pulling with a V8 and you will be fine. Make sure you have a trailer brake system in your truck as well. You can also regear your truck if u wish to help as well. Watch your transmission temp while towing, do not let it overheat. Just my two cents :) good luck

    Even with that, you'll want to cut your transmission fluid change mileages in half, maybe even annually. ATF is really, really inexpensive when you compare it to overhauling a transmission.
