Looking at purchasing a 2016 Shockwave T18SS MX toy hauler. Specs are:

    Length: 19.75Ft
    Dry Weight: 5200Lbs
    Tongue Weight: 750lbs
    Anti - Sway Bar System

    My 18 Tacoma OR Specs:
    Towing Capacity: 6800lbs
    Hitch: class 4
    Trailer Brake
    Air Bag system

Do you think i'd be fine towing this regularly for 30 miles?

I would just fill up fuel and water whenever I get where I'm going. I'd be bringing 2 dirtbikes and a little food. That's it.

Nope. I tow my 5x8 enclosed around time all the time and it's fine. I towed it on the interstate this morning, and could not believe how useless the truck was. And was sub 3000 lbs.

    I wouldn't.

Tongue weight exceeds rated capacity of 640 pounds, and if you add a toy plus propane/dishes/water, youll be way over combined gvwr, and possibly tow rating as well.

I've seen people still do it, but it's flirting with major trouble.

A full size is what you want to look for.

Check out Dune Sport. You can build you trailer online and see what it's going to cost. If you've been looking at short Toy Haulers, you probably haven't found what you want. Dune Sport only does custom builds and you only order what you want. It will usually be cheaper than a prebuilt from Carson. Phone them for a general weight based on what options you want. They are great. We got a 14 foot from them. Dry was about 2800 with all the crap we ordered in it
