Do you off-road at all? Seems like you don't really even need an all terrain tire. It seems like an all season tire would be the best bet.

We do get some snow here, and when I go offroad I want to have a little more than an all season. I had the BFG AT in the past and loved the tire. With me making a lot of turns on the road thinking I would wear them out faster than the Toya AT/2.

Have you looked into Coopers AT3? Seems like a good tire for those uses.

I've also heard Goodyears DuraTracs are good in snow but these tires are a little aggressive.

I've had them on since thanksgiving and haven't had any complaints. Oncroad they ride very nice. 285-70-17s in c load. Handled a snow storm trip through Virginia and the Carolinas a few weeks ago no problem.

I have a set and about 20k miles in, they've treated me well.

The noise is pretty good/tolerable. My buddy who has an 09 had KO2's and those are wayyy louder

I have them on mine for about 30k now, they have been a great tire. Perform very well in snow, they clear the tread really well in these conditions.

Got them on the wife's 4Runner. They ride great. I took them in the snow recently and I'm not sure I was impressed with them, although I have very limited driving experience in the snow. Hit a patch of mud and got sideways which made me question their mudding ability. They drive great on the street and are very quiet. Definitely great for limited off-road use IMO.

I'm thinking about these as well, leaning more towards the Coops. but still up in the air. Here are some of the tires i've researched

The one thing about the Coopers, they are great tires. But after about 30k miles, I cannot keep an air in the damn things. From what I've read, this is a common issues with the AT/3. I've had two tire shops go over them and can't find anything wrong with them. They just lose air.

That's actually the first complaint I've ever heard about coopers! Did you try contacting them?

I had at3s on my toyota. Took them everywhere, my buddy had toyos or nitto all terrain on his duramax and they was horrible in the rain.

These are great. I have 40,000+ miles on them and still have a shit load of tread.

I have and got the whole corporate run around. Other than the air pressure issue, I love the tires. I have almost 50k miles on them and I have lots of tread left. I'm at a crossroads because I need new tires just not sure what I'm going to go with.
