Were these the LT or SL version? I'm looking at going with the 265/70-18.

Loved, loved, loved my 265/75/16 (C load) Duratracs. Would have chosen them over my Wildpeak AT3s if they came in the 33" pizza cutter size.

But so far, I like my Wildpeaks.

I'm curious about noise as these tires wear. This summer I rented a Tacoma with LT Toyo AT3s that were more than half worn, and the noise was pretty bad. Almost sounded like a MT tire.

My dad just put Falken AT3Ws on his 4Runner, XL rated, and they are practically silent.

The Toyos are appealing for light weight and slightly higher quality, but I don't think I could live with the noise. But I haven't tried many AT tires, so I don't know what to expect as they wear.

I'm running LT rated Blizzak W965s now, and they are pretty quiet. Obviously a softer compound. They are not worn out yet (actually have tons of tread left), but they turned 10 years old this year, so it's almost time for something new.

I have just over 25k miles so far on my Toyo AT3s, and they are still pretty dang quiet. Now, my Falken MTs got crazy crazy loud with some miles on them hah. I do feel that have been losing traction though. I've noticed in rain they've slipped a few times...where I don't think they should have to be honest...we'll see how this winter goes in snow.

I've been eyeballing the Falken AT4Ws...but the weight has turned me off.
