I am need of some reviews and or advice. About to put the Fox 2.5 IFP coil overs on my rig, going to do an overall 3" lift and in the market for some 285/17s. Cant make my mind up on the Mt's or Rt's. I have had the MT's and loved them but heard the RT's have great traction too and are a little quieter. Any other reviews???

I know this is a super old thread, but what did you end up going with? I'm trying to choose too.

TOYO MT’s, that i am actually still running. Will probably swap them out by end of summer bc of low tread. They are great, just loud, and at slow speeds you can really feel the tread. Ive been pulling the tent trailer more and more nowadays so my next tire will be more road friendly. Eyeing some BF Goodrich Ko’s

Thanks for the info. I'm running the Cooper STT Pro now. I'll have to check out the KO2. Looking for something a little quieter then what I have.

My Duratracs just kept getting louder. I just put on Falken Wildpeak A/T3W . So far so good, pretty good reviews online. 285/70/17 on a 2008 TRD Tacoma.

If you liked the Toyos, and just want something a little milder, check out the new AT3 from them. I'm getting mine installed on Friday and I'll post some feedback on the Toyo AT3 thread after I get to drive them a bit.

I was concerned, because a few people have commented that the sidewalls look wimpy. But, they look great to me. Not the most aggressive sidewall I've seen, but enough to serve a purpose.

I'm curious if the sidewalls on the SL rated ones are less aggressive.:notsure:
