Well - a couple thoughts. First - like someone else said, i have around 11k on mine as well and they still look almost new, and I also drive pretty aggressively in the suburbs (bends/hard braking/accelerating/etc). So I'm definitely still digging them. They were excellent in the snow this year as well!

But my only thought is that if you loved the MS2's so much, why not get them again? ($300 is nothing in the grand scheme of things over at least 40k miles). But again, with that said, I've been loving my Toyo Open Country AT2's!

I wish Discount Tire carried Toyo. I am looking at the Open Country AT2 in P265/75-16.

2 reasons, I had the original open country's back in the day and liked them. Also the ms2s didn't feel great in winter. Rain, great. Snow, not so great.

I believe they are white letter on all of them.

I asked for them to be mounted with the lettering in, but they didn't do that.

They offered to switch them out, but I didn't want the extra scrapes and scuffs on the rims,

So I kept the white on the out side.

Just passed 5000 on them, very happy with them.

Mine are the Extreme version. You will be sorely dissapointed with the P version. They even look more agressive than the Mud version to me. My friend has 35's in the mud version, and he even commented on it being so EXTREME!!!

I may be wrong, but I don't think they make it in white letter version. I was told it is Black Letter.

I just picked up a set of AT2s in 285/75/16.
I wanted 265/75/16C but Town Fair Tire didn't have any in stock. They told me try the 265/75/16E and if I don't like them He'll ordered the range C's and that I get to drive the Load Es until He gets my new tires." I ask him if this is the case can I try 285/75/16s.... He said no Problem!!!

I assume these in P285/70R17 will NOT fit on a stock sport rim? I have an OME 885 lift, but I'm thinking they may rub my LR UCAs??

Actually they are 285/75/16s on Dick Cepek Torque rims. The rims are 16x8 with 4.5 backspacing and 0 off set. I had to remove the little front flaps in front but so far clear my mud flaps. So far the only rubbing I had wasd backing out of my buddy's driveway cut hard to the right. Not sure what rubbed it only lasted a quick mil-second and I haven't notice where it hit.

With factory rims youll need wheel spacers. I too have the OME 885's with LR UCAs. Aftermarket wheels but same tire size. You'll most likely have to trim some fender and possibly do a cab mount chop. I have done both and still rub the back of my fenders occasionally when stuffing off-road.

Interesting... How severe is the off-roading and how bad do you rub? I am currently running Bilsteins at 0, OME 885 coils, with my stock UCAs.

I know that if I was to go off-roading with this setup I'll be rubbing for sure, but I would have thought the front of the fenders. I have very little room between the front of the wheel the fender.
