30k on my Toyo AT3’s and they’re fantastic. Awesome in the snow, rain and general off road use. Also, extremely quiet and smooth on the highway. Very little road noise. No shake or shimmy.

Anyone make the switch to the Toyo AT3s from the Goodyear Wrangler Territory ATs that are coming on the TRD Off-Roads?

How much louder are the Toyo AT3s (looking at the SL 115T)?

I just put Toyo AT3s on my truck and from the stock wranglers that came with the truck I didn’t notice a huge difference in noise. Nothing the radio couldn’t drown out. Been happy with the switch.

I’m leaning towards these Toyos, but I really do like the quiet ride I’ve got with these Goodyears on the highway. Noise wouldn’t really be a big concern for driving around town, but hopefully the Toyos are quiet enough at speed.

My only complaint with my SL Toyo AT3's was they seemed to wear out quite fast. Only had them on 2 years and less than 20k klm before swapping them out for another brand. Went with LTs this time for the added tread depth but they are not nearly as comfortable/soft due to having to run higher PSI.

That has to be highly abnormal. I’ve worn out tires early, but 20k klm (12k miles) out of a 65k mile tire seems crazy. Did you get them covered under warranty?

I’ve wondered about this too because I had an XL set (same tread as SL) which start at 13.3/32”. I measured them around 11K or so miles in and was surprised to see they were already down to 8/32”-9/32”. But then I kept an eye on them and they stayed right there all the way until they had 25K on them when I sold them. It certainly was not linear. I was curious how long they’d go but I wanted to upsize so I figured sell them while I could and buy what I really wanted.

At the time I bought them they were so new, they were not available in Canada yet so I had to order them from the US and have them shipped. So I didn't bother going through warranty. I sold them with my set of 16' TRD FJ wheels for a really good price so I wasn't out much $$ at all!

That could have been my experience as well. They could have started to hold their depth but this is what mine looked like which I wasn't impressed with after only 2 years and minimal miles. (To give you an idea of how much I drive, my 2013 has 149,000klm or 92,500miles). I drive up to the ski hill in the winter and didn't feel comfortable with how low the depth was or how some of the siping was gone...

Edit: sorry, trying to figure out how to insert a picture from my google drive??

They’re a little louder but nothing to worry about. You’ll hear it the first couple days then it is unnoticeable

Sounds good. These will be my next set of tires.

It’s definitely a squarer tire so your handling should improve over the Territory. I won’t knock the Territory because it’s a comfortable, capable tire, but the Toyos are superior and I’ve put them (ATII’s) on 4 other trucks and they don’t disappoint. This is my first ATIII and so far it’s as expected. Balanced well, and plenty of grip. We’ll be mobbing past the slowpokes this winter for sure
