Toyo Open Country R/T Pro

It looks like Toyo is releasing a new R/T tire. Seems pretty good for those who use their trucks seriously but it sounds like those of us who still run 16” wheels will be left out, at least initially.

I doubt tread life will be any better than the open country at3 or open country r/t trail.

These tires don't last anywhere near their rated tread warranty.

 

I’ve never actually run a Toyo tire lol but I have read a lot of people complaining about tread life.

 

The tread pattern reminds me of the Maxxis RAZR MT,

This is what the RT Trails should have been from the get go...

 

Agreed, there are so many versions of their “RT” tire now it’s a bit much. I’m wondering if they’re planning on discontinuing the original Toyo RT.
