Just saw Toyo is releasing a new version of their R/T tire. Looks pretty sweet, I currently run Nitto Ridge Grapplers, and these look very similar for performance. I know Toyo and Nitto are same company, but would be very interested in trying these tires out next. I have really enjoyed the Ridge Grapplers and having a hybrid terrain tire, probably seriously consider these next year or so when I need some new rubber.

Looks like a nice improvement. I never liked the tread pattern of the R/T. A little too aggressive though for me to put on daily driver.

Saw these yesterday, have to see how they do and what reviews are like.

I love my RTs, more agressive than my old K02, but still a daily driver.

Yeah like I said, I run the ridge grapplers on my daily driver and love them. I would compare them to the Toyo RT. I think this new Toyo RT Trail would be closer to the new Nitto Recon Grappler which kinda sits between the hybrid and AT tires offered.

Aloha TW Ohana, I’m stoked some guys are trying these new Toyo’s out… I’m liking what I’ve read via the Web. But was truly hoping some Tacoma guys have tried them out.

I’ve had many sets of the old Toyo A/T’s,, and a few years back I switched to the BFG’s KO2… simply because their a little Lighter, but most of all: They actually AIR DOWN

where as all my Toyo’s seemed to stay Bricks no matter what off road PSI I ran (think our Taco’s are too light for these 3ply load rated E tires)

I’m curious if these new Toyo “Trails” actually air down and flex

My Question and hope TW guys: is looking forward to hearing some Off Road ride feed back from Taco guys

    mahalo’s
