    Info?

You have 23k miles. Your tire tread life is 50%. They’re also dry rotted.

    In short, buy tires.

The wear on the outside of that tire is horrible, check tire pressure and maybe alignment is needed.
That's some bad feathering happening there.
    Also rotate tires more often.

You got some bad wear, as others have said, alignment. But from what I can see of the sidewall (not a lot), i'm not seeing any rot.

Agree with others, your alignment is no good. Make sure you get it done, otherwise your new tires will look the same in no time.
    I dont see any rot.

    Good luck!

You need a closeup picture of the front of the tire where the name brand is.

Okay, sorry for the asshole comment earlier about owning a cell phone. I assume everyone is a millennial with a phone permanently attached to their hand.

I don’t see dry rot, but I question your air pressure and alignment.

There are a lot of videos about tire pressure checks with chalk and it’ll show your contact patch. This is a pretty cheesy video, but it gets the point across. That said, your tires are pretty beat. You would be best off doing this with newer tires.

Well, someone (controlling what I say here so I don’t get banned again) reported my original name as racist and offensive. So while I was banned (for something totally unrelated) my name was changed to “298686”. When I got back, I made my case to keep my original name and it was denied. I was allowed to choose a new one and the forum owner allowed my choice and changed it. I asked if it was okay to change my custom title to address who I used to be and he allowed that, which I really appreciate. The part that sucks, is everywhere on the internet, for 16 years, I have been Beancooker. The name comes from me being a coffee roaster. It’s like being told your name is unacceptable. Kind of a bummer.
But that’s the story if why my name was changed. I wish like all hell I could keep my original name.

You need to ask the onebob to have your name changed. You are allowed to change it once.

Thanks for explaining. I probably should know this, but how is beancooker racist and offensive. Am i missing something? Is it like a redneck thing?

I wasnt born in the states, probably thats why im not getting it.

I'll send you a PM. I don't want to get into details on the site and end up banned.

There is a manufacture date on all tires. Google how to decode it. I forgot. This dry rot issue has happened to me. We bought a car from Carmax and the tread looked great. Upon closer inspection, I found that the tires were 10 years old and dangerous AF. Carmax replaced them N/C.
