So I have Toyoguard "platinum", once I go over 25,000 miles, the toyoguard only covers 2 free oil changes and 4 tire rotations apparently. This is coming from my service advisor at the stealership.

    Sounds right? :notsure:

Sucks, hard to buy in South East Toyota network without the dumb Toyoguard.
I think I have the plus plan for one oil change and 2 rotations.
From seeing what others paid on here I feel I still got a better deal than most others even with the toyoguard included. It is probably one of those things they add on to make you feel you get a good deal when they tell you they will discount it off the price. Idk

Almost all of the Toyota's in SET territory have Toyoguard and a whole bunch of other stuff added. The accessories like mudguards and all weather mats are also more expensive. Toyoguard is usually a 699.00 addition and has the oil changes, tire rotations, roadside assistance and such. We've only ever used the oil changes and rotations, so it's basically a bunch of profit for SET.

It's annoying that they add so much to their vehicles to drive the price up. For example, our local dealer has a 4x4 TRD OR DCSB with tow package (NO premium/tech) that has almost $2500.00 in extras.
    Toyoguard 699.99
    Paint protection 618.00
    Borla Exhaust 849.00
    All weather mats 309.00
    Total MSRP is 39k+
