Wow this is such a shitty idea. I hope this is a joke! It’s going to get heinously ruined so quick and combines just the worst elements of off-road and utility trailers to result in a total turd pile. Screw this garbage

I wonder what the payload would be, hopefully more than what our 3rd gens can carry now

Maybe it's just me but every time I see a truck bed turned into a trailer I think "hillbilly ingenuity". Not that it's wrong but I'm definitely not a hillbilly.

Vote would be a hard no.

Absolute waste of money and super impractical. The bed of a Tacoma is small, that trailer is just for looks and IG likes. Worthless as far functionality is concerned. Get a real trailer unless you are just planning to tow that around to pick up groceries and Starbucks coffee.

Mine will be used as a camp trailer. I would love to buy a dedicated offroad camper, but the price and the amount of use just isn't justifiable for me. I'm right at $1500 as of now. I still have a bed rack and RTT to add.
Plus, if I were to need any parts for my truck, I have the same wheels, tires, susp, etc. I will also be able to swap the bed rack/RTT onto the truck if wanted.
At the end of the day, I don't need to justify why......just thought I would let guys in on the reasons......plus it just makes me laugh when I see it behind the truck

I was thinking in the same way you were, being able to swap my softopper bed rack and rtt from one to the other to suit my needs would be great. If I were doing more intense off road stuff I could leave the 2nd bed at home, but if I’m at a local campsite or anything closer to civilization I’ll run the trailer to have the extra cargo space. I’m not a huge fan of the look but the fact that it would be plug and play and there are already so many accessories for the tacoma bed, the build can be anything in your wild imagination. Put a truck hitch onto the trailer and drag two behind you if you want! Lol
