Please give me an engineering lesson on why the original stock tune was fine, and why anyone who complained about the absolutely garbage original tune just doesn’t understand physics.

The stock tune, for me, works just fine. It drives exactly as expected. And it's not just me. 25K of these a month are sold. You think everyone bitches about it? No. Now, does everyone like it? No, and the TSB addresses those who aren't satisfied.
Get a life and quit trying to start shit over every single issue.

Agree with most of your observations, but... reading this post leaves me a bit disappointed. High road man, it isn't worth it.

 

I find the 'ignore' feature makes many things much more pleasurable. I call it my 'safe place', and it's pretty crowded.

It's not hard to believe at all, there are plenty of guys that are happy with the stock calibration. I don't understand why we constantly fight about it though. I didn't like how my '16 M/T drove, so I paid the price of admission and did something about it. Doesn't mean I'm wrong, doesn't mean you're wrong.

 

Btw just did 180 miles around the backside of Mt Katahdin 10-16" of snow 9* weather. Funny. My truck pulled just fine in snow up there mtn sides.

Averaged 14.6 on the tank too
