Great point :amen: suspension is one of those things that just has to fit your budget/usage of your truck. Also at times I tend to go with an easy reliable option even if that may cost more money to less complicate the situation

Okay, I might be a little dense here, b/c I am new to all of this. But can I now go to my local dealer, and have them install this lift, on m existing 2021 DCOR, or is this just on factor orders? Also, is the general consensus, that this is going to be $2k parts and labor? Last, if wanted to do a decent quality 2" lift with say an add a leaf, and front shocks, what would that cost, going the non-dealer route? A bunch of questions, I know:confused:.

5100’s , eibach great kits IMO. AAL with both works well or 3 Leaf aal your decision. Dealer lift to me from seeing it in person is nice. Price not so nice. eibach and 5100’s will be under 1000 bucks. Great daily . weekend fun lift.
    Good luck

The general public is a difficult group to please. I have a 2005 Sequoia that has an actual oil pressure gauge. Toyota Service Manager once told me it was astounding how many people brought their vehicle in to complain that the needle moved while they drove.....and would argue that it was a problem even after it was explained to them how the oiling system works. I am convinced the reason the vast majority of oil pressure gauges, in modern vehicles, are just glorified "idiot light" is for this exact reason. To expect Toyota to offer a OEM lift kit that would make everyone happy is a pipe dream.

Toyota had to get the rear end of the truck to sit higher to compete with the tall rear end on the Ranger.

~$2000 for a kit that uses a spacer on the rear for a suspension that is already lacking... Womp.

I like the previously stated fact, that the OR with this option is greater then the Pro, my opinion.

I ended up getting the TRD factory lift with Pro grille, Pro skid plate, and New Falken Wildpeak tires for 3416.25 out the door..
I had to add the torch add a leaf kit to support my RTT/ bed rack. My leaf springs were sagging really bad after the added weight. attached some before and after pics..

I like the fact that there is now a factory option lift kit. I am looking at a 2"-3" lift kit in the near future for my ORSB.

I just had this installed on ‘21 I bought new in December. Netted 2” up front and 1.5” in back. I’m in CA so driving lights were not deleted. Toyota is running a special right now, price varies by dealer but one about 20 miles from me had it for $1193.40. The Feb press release said 4-5 hours labor, dealers here in CA say 7, so I was able to at least negotiate a 20% discount on the labor (I know, I essentially paid for 5 hours...)

I have new FN F(X) Pro 17x8” wheels waiting for some rubber, planning on 265/70R17 which will fill in the fenders a tad (total diameter about 1” bigger than stock), and I have a winch bumper on order so the stance should be perfect. I did all sorts of research and just liked the idea of Toyota parts and warranty, dealer-backed install and recalibration of the tech, and replacing that hideous OR grill. The dealer was cool, I kept all old parts and they even sent them home with me in the boxes from the kit.
