Toyota (Canada) Extended Warranty: 200K Km, no time limit

Howdy folks,

I've tried to search for this here, and online (apologies if this is a repost). A local dealership in Canada is offering a bumper to bumper extended warranty for a 2023 Toyota Tacoma for $4300 Cdn - but get this:

- 200,000 Km
- no time limit

I've never heard of an extended warranty with no time limit?

I will get more details ie. fine print, if I end up buying the taco - and share the details here.

But anyone here heard of, or purchased that warranty?

 

This might be a good deal if you keep your Toyota vehicles many years and drive very few miles. However, I put 185,000 miles on a RAV4 with nothing more than regular maintenance.

Could be stipulations in there about needing to service it with that specific dealer at ludicrous prices

 

Dang, did not think of that.

In fact, this particular dealership offered free oil filters/oil changes for 7 years - but I must bring the truck back every 6 months for a "tire rotation" aka "let's find something wrong"...
