I'm coming up on my trucks 24 month anniversary and have not had my 20 k maintenance yet. Does anyone know if Toyota is extending Toyota Care for those of us being ordered to shelter in place?

I've got a great idea . . . Why don't you check with your DEALER. If they're hunkered down because of the SIP, check with them when the SIP has been cleared.

Where we are, car service centers are still operating. Vehicle repairs are essential. Call your preferred dealership to verify if this is the case in your area.
You will not get pulled over and locked up for going to a business if said business is open.

Edit to add. I am at work today doing nothing because we are a service center. A boat service center, but still a service center. No customers, but we are open and I am getting paid.

It's 24 month. If it's not two years old you can still get it done.

I'm just trying to do my part. I don't consider oil changes on a truck that hasn't moved in two weeks, and likely won't for another month, essential.

Was looking for something written, have had bad experience with dealers lieing to me in the past.

My Toyota care ends aug 20 and I will be glad. I can do my own service and I know that it is good to have documented services but I don’t have time for a three hour tire rotation at the dealer anymore, true story.

I hate to break it to ya, but there has been nothing forcing you to take advantage of Toyota care. You could have been doing your own service from the very beginning. I have chosen to use the Toyota care, since I'd already paid for it when I bought the truck. I've been in and out in an hour every time. Also a true story.

You can keep it documented with the toyotaowners app or online. Really easy to do.

Toyota care is ok for the non mechanical guy, I took mine in for all the free services just because I paid for it though they say it’s free, nothing is free! I’m retired so like Tacomamike18 I waited for the 3hr tire rotation.....now all free is done, I’ll be doing my own, just keep receipts and for things I can’t do I’m going to my mechanic who only works on Toyota’s. The dealer here in Hilo HI owns the Chevy dealership too, so it sucks going in for service. I negotiated a free 100,000 mi extended warranty when I got the truck after they wouldn’t budge anymore on price, so gotta keep receipts........

Looking at this point. I am at almost 18 months since purchase and only have 13,400 miles. Toyota is sending me reminders for the 18 month service. I just had the 10,000 mile one done in July which was a year.
I will probably be close to 15,000 by mid January when it will actually be 18 months.
My Toyota care says it expires July 29 2022. So if I don't make it to 20,000 or 25,000 miles by then do I just miss out on those service appointments?

Missing the 25,000 one is probably not a big deal as it doesn't include an oil change only tire rotation and inspection.

I'll be done with the 2 year toyota care next month. Really can't complain, every visit has been done within 3/4 hr from the time arriving. During those 2 years, you'll get 2 oil change's...one for every year, 4 tire rotations, and their vehicle inspections whether you have 20k miles or not. Your also entitled to one free tire alignment, but it has to be claimed within the first year, or 10k miles.

You mean like a wheel alignment? Didn't know about that though the truck drives pretty straight and never seemed like there was an issue. I also don't have the stock tires anymore.

You likely couldn't tell if you have a wheel alignment issue if one tire was a bit out of toe....it would still drive straight. Hopefully you'd notice the odd tire wear before 10k miles, or a year. I didn't have my stock tires on that the truck that they came with, but a size larger that was still recommended on the door jam. The dealer checked the alignment during my 1st service visit and claimed it was ok.
