Toyota.com Inventory Search Function Accuracy

Does anyone know how accurate the toyota.com web page is for any particular region?

I noticed when you do a search, certain builds of the 2017 are not available and as you add or subtract features it pulls some options away. What you are left with it wants you to select a dealer to contact in your area.

Does this mean that particular truck is either still being built or is in transit somewhere and still potentially available?

I can't believe how many 2017's my locals still have on the lot and how many they are still expecting to get.

I'd like to drive and look at an SR 5 speed manual before they are all gone.
