Most other countries adopted phase out of ICE cars about a decade before the USA ever did in the few states so far. Norway, Denmark, parts of France. The USA behind the ball on ICE phase out.

Maybe instead of charging stations that take hours to charge ya up , they will have pre- charged , quick disconnect batteries. Pull in , switch batteries and away ya go.

That system was developed in Japan I believe even before Tesla started their first production runs. I believe some country is actually using it and takes less than 15 min to swap batteries.Great idea

Right. That's the concept that will most likely what the production vehicle will be. My post explains everything.

Battery crash safety would be nice. Took 30 minutes to put out that tesla fire in the auto drive crash last week.

I still like the 0-60 sub 4 second rivian

“These results show that consumers don’t have to sacrifice safety when they choose a vehicle that’s cleaner for the environment, and saves them money on fuel and maintenance,”

"IIHS spokesman told CR that the safety organization’s crash tests of electric vehicles “have never resulted in a fire or a spike in battery temperature that would indicate the potential for a thermal runaway event.”
