Well I posted earlier about my 2010 tacamo battery dying, and the radio crapping out. A non selling dlrship did replace the radio without any problems, service dept seemed to be only more than happy to be of service, they also gave me an 800# to call in my claim on reimbursement of having to get a new battery. Got an email from toyota, listing all of the hoops I had to jump thru just to have my claim reviewed, to which I replied that hoops aren't for me and that I'd just eat the cost, and share my experience. Toyota responded with just send us copies of your receipt. I scanned my receipt and the print out from the battery test performed by advanced auto parts, and emailed these to Toyota.

TOYOTA RESPONDED THAT A TIME FRAME OF 10 WEEKS WOULD OCCUR BEFORE THEY REVIEWED MY CLAIM.

just wonderful huh,,good thing that I am not so bad off that I am depending on a fast reimbursement or even a partial reimbursement.

No word from Toyota until today, supper nice letter and full reimbursement of the cost of my battery.

Eating a little crow, they done good.
