Toyota CV axle 00016-AX043

Has anybody ever seen this part number before? I called a local dealership asking about cv axles for my truck and they said this is the part number from SE Toyota and that they are Genuine toyota. I can't find anything on the internet with that part number? Anybody heard of these?

When I bought my truck last month, I had it inspected at a Toyota dealership. The CV Boots were torn, so the previous owner had new ones put on at the dealership, I think under warranty. I just looked up the paperwork and it is the 00016-AX043 axle they used.

The axles are not green, so I figured they aren't OEM. I'm having some work done on my truck soon and thought I'd inquire about getting new Toyota axles, so I called today and was told what I originally posted. I'm thinking they're not OEM if they aren't green axles, correct? After looking up the prices for part number 4343004020, these (00016-AX043) cost way less.

 

Wouldn’t be the first time Toyota sells aftermarket parts. I’ve gotten aftermarket axels, aftermarket struts hell I’ve ordered oil and coolant and they’ve sent me non OEM fluids so it’s a high possibility they aren’t OEM.
