Funny enough, the Gazoo Racing engine oil (spec'd for the Supra and GR Yaris) isn't made by ExxonMobil. Rather, the manufacturing location in Spain suggests it's Shell Helix.

I was referring to Toyota branded Dexron III, which nowadays is just used in the power steering system. Dealers still sell Toyota branded Type IV ATF as well, which is used in the 2nd gen 4-speed in 4-cyl models.

I buy 5-30 oil from Costco. It's normally $35 for a 5 quart jug but it's often on sale for closer to $25. I stock up when I catch it on sale. It's worked fine for 250,000 miles in my Tacoma. 155,000 in my F150. I've never added a quart between oil changes in either vehicle.

Costco or Kirkland oil is made by Warren which makes Amazon oil and Walmart (super tech)

It's like batteries, limited manufacturers producing a product that's being packaged and sold under a bunch of different names. In the the case of companies like Toyota, Honda Yamaha etc...they don't make their oil they just have it put into containers with their name on it. Sometimes the reseller (Toyota, Nissian, BMW) will go a step further and have the have the oil company add specific additives or specify other differences like viscosity ranges to the base stock being used. None of these 2nd tier resellers like toyota, costco etc are adding stuff to the oil themselves, it's all done when the oil is manufactured. What you're buying when you buy Toyota oil is a formulation that's been specified by toyota for their design or something that already met their design specifications, ether way it's 100% produced by someone else. You don't want a car company making the oil just like you wouldn't want your oil company building your vehicle.

Dexron 6 is low viscosity, meant to improve fuel consumption in automatic transmissions designed for it. When used in the power steering system, it may encourage leaks.

Uh, just buy two 5 quart bottles, and save the remainder for your next oil change.

    OME and worth every penny.
Some folks don't like having anything extra laying around. "Yes sir, everything's squared away". Maybe there's a chance to derail this thing.

Wow, the first bidet in Japan, nice.

I saw Toto everywhere when I was over there (some models had the sink on the back of the toilet, so it flushed with your dirty hand water).

Most bathrooms in the US don't have a dedicated circuit next to the toilet, or I might have one of those heated models. Instead, I'm stuck using cold water like a savage over here...

^Yep, while US Land Cruisers got this for "air conditioning", the Japanese were washing their asses with Aisin bidets.
