Yes, and that’s exactly what I am doing. I will take a wait and see to determine if it would be prudent to get it and also see how many miles I drive in the next few years.

$1795 for the 10/125K matches what Jennifer sent me for the Camry. The Camry is in the same warranty tier as the Tacoma. I bought my folks the 8/75K for $735, no brainer. Their car is just at the end of its lease with 11K miles.

These Toyota warranties are cheap. The Ford warranty for my Raptor was going to cost be $2900 for a 8/125K $0 deductible through Flood Ford (cheapest internet retailer). The Toyota 8/125K $0 deductible is $1405.

Thank you. I drive 14K miles a year, so it will be 8.5-9 years for me reach 125K miles.

I do plan to keep my 21 for about 10-15 years.

Jennifer sent me some prices and I'm going for 10/100k. $500 cheaper than what my local dealer charges. I reached out to them to see if they could match it, and they told me that prices are set by Toyota based on vehicle and region, so it sounds like it is negotiable at your dealer. I'm sure Jennifer from Michigan is happy to have all the business.

I paid $2300ish when I bought it off the lease. Recently had a body issue, and while it took 3 weeks in total, the dealer fought the fight, and I never had to pick up the phone. I paid nothing out of pocket for a repair that would have cost $500-$700 easy. They even gave me a brand new Highlander for $0, that I drove for like 3 weeks. It was a 100K bumper to bumper. I work about 1.5 miles from my house, so it should work out in my favor. My previous rig was a Jeep, that I had a lifetime bumper to bumper on, it was purchased new way back when folks were taking bailouts. Hated dealing with the dealer, they were crooks.Toyota service is way easier to deal with.

Has anyone filed a claim with Toyota Financial for dent repair? I have the Platinum Wheel & Tire Package, which includes dent repair, and the company that they've outsourced this warrant to, Safe-Guard Products Intl, is giving me the run around. I've already had the hail damage/dents repaired via Geico and a local repairman so I'm trying to get my deductible back from Toyota/Safe-Guard but they keep asking for more documents.
