Added the Diaz Mfg Trailer Harness Replacement Bracket during the summer and learned that the PO had backed into something enough to bend the steel plate and break the plastic. In the middle photo, you can see how I managed to bend the right side back, leaving it pointing south only a bit. Somehow the harness was still attached. Yesterday, mounted four new Cooper Discoverer AT3s for some winter driving.

Here is an example of that winter driving. No snow when I arrived. Two feet of snow in the hills 7 miles away. Had to turn around at that point.

Before and after aiming the headlights I installed 5 days ago.

I always forget I have this thread. I post what I've done in the "what have you done today" threads and forget this one.

Well, I sold my 2010 Access Cab. You can see the sale photo. Wife said kids "can't fit in the back. Get a new truck." Okay, honey, you're the boss.

With prices so crazy, a used truck cost more than new. So I now have a new 2021 DCSB. And I realize that the photos won't win me a Richard Avedon award. Twas a busy day transferring gear and finding out that Gen 2 Access Cab gear doesn't necessarily fit Gen 3 dual cab short bed spaces.

The best part of yesterday's purchase was that I located a color-match canopy the night before. I was the first to call, and the seller threw in some other gear too. He had a lease and was turning the rig in. Heck of a buy and no two-month wait. Woo-hoo!

In two weeks, I've powered the brake light in the used canopy, installed running boards, did the A/C drain hose mode, and replaced the stock backup lights and interior lights with LEDs, this time from Jumpers. I just like being able to see. Oh, and I installed the MESO coin holder and a ham radio mic holder (vent mod). More items ordered--auto deflators and the Static chalk bag water bottle holder.

You can see the before/after difference in the following shots. On the interior of the cab, the center bezel difference in light output is not quite so obvious in the shot. But check the OEM incandescent light's shadow on the headrests and floor mat in the final photo The LED is much brighter overall, much improved. You can actually see to write stuff.

Did the 32 oz water bottle mod, transferred the seatbelt cutter/windshield punch tool, and mounted a bed extender I found on CL.

Tweeters swapped for Subaru's Kickers. Radio transferred over. Oh, and Screen Pro-Tech applied to the easily-scratched dash and navigation screens.

I realized when I posted the Talon cat guard skid plate that I hadn't posted my regular skid plate install.

Got a DAC Camper Shell Tent after trying to sleep diagonally last year. Never again. Used the new tent in the rain and the warm dry. I recommend a fan. https://tinyurl.com/2p8saw85

DAC Mid-Size Truck Camper Tent. DAC will suggest the larger size, but the mid-size seems to fit better per others.

Installed Bullet Point Fabricating's recovery points on the front. Without the "look-at-me" red shackles, you don't see the points, which is just fine with me.

85 degrees outside--unseasonably warm for NW Oregon this time of year, day 5 of Covid quarantine and two boxes from CoverKing said it was time to paint the upholstery red.

Added eyebrows, just in time for the rain. I can toodle along the trail with fresh air but no rain drops.
