Ditto: I have an "09" which has 4 leaf springs with 3 clips, so I would think mine will be replaced also'

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to actually read instead of just looking at the pictures and assuming lol

So, if I had 4 clips, this wouldn't have happened?

Unless I'm missing something, the question has been answered.

so my 08 TRD Offroad 4x4 has 3 springs and 3 clips, but in northern california, apparently the fix is still 'pending'. will the fix be 4-leaf springs or just new/different 3-leafs? I definitely want to stiffen the rear up a bit but without harshing the street ride, which I know is a delicate compromise (I've overdone suspension upgrades in the past and regretted it when using vehicle as a daily driver, but appreciated it when fully loaded for road trips, or driving like a banshee in the mountains)

I haven't heard of anyone getting a 2+1 (3 leaf) replacement leaf pack, so I would guess you will get the 4 leafs. Mine is the 3+1 (4 leaf) that replaced a 10 year old set of 2+1's. And I can't say I felt any difference in the ride. The ride height was the exact same.

Had my recall done on Saturday. I did not take any measurements before it went in but, I could not tell much difference in the new springs.

On a side note I installed OME Dakar springs the next day so if anyone does not qualify for the recall but wants the newer springs let me know!
