Sorry for the lengthy details, but here goes..........I bought a `14 Tacoma TRD Decmember 2013. It didn`t have any floormats. Salesman said that this truck didn`t come with them. He said he would get some free mats for me. He got a set of new cloth mats valued at $100.00 (sheesh) but not the kind that bolt to the floor. These slip around and an edge is already starting to curl up. I got a recall notiification today about possible wrong tire pressure label on truck and tire pressure warning system setting. While at the dealership I said, I was unhappy about no floor mats for the truck and the mats the salesperson got for me were problematic. I was taken to the Sales Manager and I presented my case. He authorized new Toyota mats for me free. The mats that bolt to the floor. He said he didn`t want me to be disappointed and to be an unhappy Toyota customer. Gave me choice of cloth mats($300.00 value) or all-weather rubber mats. I chose the cloth mats, but then thought the rubber all-weather mats would be better. So, I`m getting the all-weather mats. Are these mats best choice? yes/no.??

Between those 2 mats I would say all weather. The cloth ones look good, but have little function.

Prob the best if you reside in a snow or damp climate. Ive had my rubber/all weather's less than a week(doubt they are 300 bills new though)and just replaced them with Weather Tech's, far better choice imo.

That's because Canadians are so nice. In the states most dealers would tell you tires are an extra if they could get away with it.

My 2014 TRD Sport came with the Toyota all weather mats even though they were not listed with the installed options. He said all the Tacomas they sell that have the TRD packages come with the all weather mats. But I did replace them with the Weather Tech custom fit mats. The weather techs cover more area and fit better. Get the Weather Tech mats, you will happier with them.

If I was paying $30k+ for a truck it better come factory with some damn mats....

But on the true side. I believe all tacoma come with factory mats other then the regular 2 door cab truck....

I bought weather tech liner mats the same week I got my new truck. Best money spent.

    Good luck

There is no doubt that something as simple as the Weather Tech's are one of my favorite aftermarket purchases. They are worth every penny.

Weird op, my previous truck '14 PreRunner 4-cyl was a base model, and even still came with the fabric mats that bolt down, and have the Tacoma script on them. I think my buddy bought a new '13 base, manual 5- lug, reg cab for his Pool service and even it came with mats.

I think some dealers trash the mats that come with the truck, and either try to sell you a new set, or aftermarket all weather mats for $300.

Just an FYI, new OE all weather mats can be had all day long on EBay for $80 ish. So $300 for OE mats is absurd.
