    Yes. I inherited my truck December 2015 so I have until 2027 but since my truck is bad I will hopefully get a frame now. If it weren't bad then I would wait until it gets worse.

    Uh, no. It's not 12 years from YOUR 1st use. It's 12 years from the original owners 1st use.

    No. I also have an 06. My first date use was July 18 2006 so yours should be close meaning your already past the '12 years from date of first use'.

    As I sit here doing the math...The Toyota Rep said I was past my 12 year deadline but, if my first use was 7-18-06 then 7-18-18 would be my 12 year deadline. Am I missing something?

    If there are no perforations larger than 10 mm then that is correct. As stated above the settlement agreement states 12 years from date of service, or one year from the final order date (May 21, 2017)--which ever is longest:

    A 2005 MY truck sold on 10/1/2005 has until 5/21/2018;
    A 2010 MY truck sold on 10/1/2010 has until 10/1/2022;

    Not to argue but are you sure about that? Like Cliff said, it was from first original usage date. When the truck was drove off the lot I believe.

    There is also language allowing inspection/remedy up until one year after the suit's final order was issued. That was May 21, 2017, so May 21, 2018 is the last day for trucks that are past the 12 year date-of-service limitation...

    I haven't received it yet so idk if it's a 2016 or 2017. The dealer here is kinda small. They said they only have 2 pickup loaners and they are both out.
    I've head the horror stories of truck owners being stuck with Camrys and rav4's and minivans so I loaded a bunch of my tools Ain the back of the truck and when I requested a truck they didn't hesitate to agree.
    I probably could have drove off the lot in some sort of vehicle but didn't want to get stuck with it so I told them I'd find a ride home and contact me as soon as they could get me in a pickup.
    My dealer, being in the south were completely unaware of the frame settlement so I called Toyota customer service. After a small description of what was going on Toyota contacted the dealer directly and since then have been the most attentive people ever. Whatever that Rep told my dealer really changed their attitude towards me.

    The just settled class action suit only covers 2005 through 2010 model years. Also the 12 years is from the first date-of-service, i.e. the date the truck was first sold when new. E.g. A truck purchased new, by the original owner, in 2007 will be eligible until 2019--no "clock is reset" because of subsequent resales,,,

    I mentioned that I transport pressurized tanks from time to time and that it is unsafe to transport in cab. They didn't flinch and said they will get me a truck

    Looks like it Bud. Looks like everything's gonna work out tho. Toyota has stepped up to the plate so far on my end.
    If you run into any problems call 1800-331-4331. Toyota customer Service.

    Are any of these frames in good shape like mine? Were they all made by Dana?
