So 2 steps forward for me, but seeing this makes me wonder if 1 step back now.

Been on the phone with Toyota Corporate, they are starting to hear my frustration, and hooked me directly to dealer... Service Manager was helpful, gonna get me in Camry for Weekend, then Tacoma on Monday... BUT... He said I can not pull a trailer with it, and he said Corporate should have told me that. Ugh! We are still without our Tow vehicle then. Sounds like conflicting reports about the towing.

I got something for ya buddy. Next post will be a picture of my loaner contract stating you may tow with the loaner so long as it does not weigh more than payload. Just a sec.

1501893538506-1862255085.jpg there ya go. That's the back of my contract.
Ya know what's on the front? Nothing...
No charge, no signature, no nothing.
    Look at it this way...
It is not your fault that the vehicle was taken from you. It's not your fault it was not up to standards and rotted away. IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT. If not for these crappy frames we would all have our vehicles to tow, drive, pickup Hunny's or whatever floats your boat.
That loaner is a replacement for your vehicle. You use it like you would yours, minus racing or damaging it.
That's what we are being given these loaners for.

and what i have been told by a service manager, could be at lest 6 month up to a year before the frame kits are shipped out to the dealers, so i would say demand a truck and just used it as you see needed !

Yeah, Service Manager was very adamant that towing was not allowed, and said no way I could get comparable vehicle (Sequoia)... Sounds like another call to Toyota HQ, and possibly to other local dealers to find out what they have for rentals. Nuts.

If you don't get it I have no words to respond--good luck in the brave new world you have set out for yourselves.

    --------------------
Oh, BTW I love the "old man" derogatory, I guess it's because you young folk are so "inclusive" and everything--right?

I think you don't respond because you actually don't have a response. It's only a simple question why you being so negative?

Ohh, BTW haha I love your comment, if I could triple like it I would.

I Agree with you, I apologize to cliffyk. Your son will come back home and you will be very proud of him. More than what you already are.

Small dealer. Plus Toyota Customer Service contacted them and set things straight.
Think they're just doing everything to make things right since I had been in there 3 times before about them looking at my frame and they refused to.

They may not have a Sequoia to replace yours but guarantee they have a Tacoma.
