The settlement involves about 1.5 million vehicles and covers all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and all other United States territories and possessions.

This is a question for those more mechanically inclined than I:

Why don't they galvanize the frames? Can't be that expensive...or is it?

Off topic, but my buddies and did a trip down there last fall for the puppy drum run. The amount of vehicles on the point was incredible. We opted to fish a few hundred yards north and caught around 40 blues on the afternoon, meanwhile everyone who came from the point had a puppy.

We also use braided so fishing shoulder to shoulder with the mono guys wouldnt have made us any friends!

We go every Oct. Love it. We only got puppies on Ocracoke last year. Probably due to the hurricane/storm rolled through a week prior. We did hammer some blues on the point though.

You need the ORV pass of course but there is hundreds of miles of beach you can drive on.

For sure, you just have to watch out for closures due to the Piping Plovers nesting. When they nest on our Beach, the entire ORV is shutdown (which is basically the summer months).

One of the greatest natural wonders in America. They are trying to ruin it for everyone, but you can still go there. If you have never been, I'd suggest a trip soon.

Damn, it's awesome down there. My wife and I usually stay down in hatteras every year and take the dogs. Its beautiful down there.

The ferry is fun, and its free, for now. Ocracoke is really nice too!

    Lightning while on the ferry.

20161218_140310515_iOS.jpg My most recent trip to Ocracoke. My truck is the other one on the ferry. One of the mates was nice enough to refill my coffee.
