My frame will be in tomorrow!
They gave me a list of things to replace ....Shocks/struts , clutch ,valve cover gasket , water pump /belt and sway links . Total came to 3500 ! Any advice on what to replace and what not to replace ?
The clutch is still good and the valve cover has a slight leak ... other stuff was replace because of age . It's a 2006 with 75000 on it . Thanks in advance

WOW! If you know the clutch is good, that would be red flag #1 imo.

Doesn't sound like they're giving you much of a "discount" for having things already apart.

I may just get struts/shocks done and that's it ... till something actually breaks. The prices are not all labor free . I'm skeptical !

Look at post #1057, last picture. See the struts sitting on the floor? The engine and trans are transplanted, and the whole front ends apart...
I have a feeling they are trying to charge you full labor hours for the repairs they specified.
I'd see what you yourself could purchase the parts for.
Another option would be to call another dealer and without mentioning what your scenario is, see if they will give you a quote for the same repairs your dealer is specifying. If they match then you know they're charging full allotted labor rate and not cutting you any slack.
If that's the case then I would call up Toyota Customer Experience Center and explain the dilemma to them. They may say go jump off a cliff or they may put a boot in that dealers ass and make it better.
$3500 seems steep to me for said repairs. Even for dealer work.

I left with a bill of 3500 but I'm getting a new radiator among a long list of things. Not shocks and struts though. The manager did recommended but it added another 1K or so to the bill.

I'm sure I'll be getting the call once the frame comes in and they start disassembly.

So I got mine back today drives like new got charged labor for strut install and 2 gallons of antifreeze other than that feel like it was a great deal no noise at all going down high way.
Toyotas bill was 12000 including tsb rear leaf springs and rental for almost 2 mths
    My bill was 2300
New shocks struts belts hoses water pump rearmain seal oil pan seal tuneup plugs tranny flush filter 4x4 service and axles serviced oil change fuel system flush
And buffed out scratches on my bumper and sorta detailed it ( I think they thought they did it )
I put 5655 miles on their 2017 trd sport and was happier leaving in my 2006 trd off-road with 170000 miles its more comfortable and feels like it has more power than the newer Tacoma
All and all I think the dealer could of given me a little better deal but I'm happy in the end ill post some pics when I have more time

I haven't seen any frames being dropped off at my dealership yet, but I did receive a letter from Toyota stating that my reimbursement was denied for the frame patch and brake lines. I just got off the phone with Toyota Customer Service and they were very helpful and noticed that for some reason, they listed the reimbursement claim under the leaf spring TSB so any wonder it was declined. She resubmitted the claim for me under the correct campaign, (ZH6), and now I just have to wait again. A little annoyed at that but, honestly, for just buying the truck and still getting a new frame, I am not going to complain too much. I'm going to check with my parts department to see if they have any updates on the parts. I know I was the first on the list under the new program.

Is 690 overpriced for 2 front struts and 2 Rear shocks installed by dealer ? They say that's just for parts

Everything is over priced at the dealer haha but honestly your truck is apart so just throw it in. At an independent shop you might save 50 bucks or even 100 depends where you go. But always rember you get what you pay for. A dealer will always take responsibility.
