Well brought my 05 in. It passed the frame inspection, which sucks. My truck got coated by the previous owner but it pretty much all came off allready. While they inspected my frame they broke my antenna off my truck,Thanks Toyota. What are you guys doing with your trucks if your frame is in crappy condition but it passed?

You got lucky then. lol. I don't know how toyota makes priority out of orders, but I've been waiting on my DCLB frame since July.

No. I don't like driving a car I don't own for long periods of time.

Check the frame rails too...See if the metal sandwiched together is separating.

Mine was at the drivers side cab mount. Looked like crap so I punched it with my fist and a chuck about 3 inches over popped off exposing a hole.

What did the tow hitch cost you? Can you share the part number? There are several listed on the web. Some are showing a price above $800.

I bought a Draw Tite hitch for mine since my OEM is a mess. If your truck has an OEM hitch already, you will need to order the bumper brackets from Toyota. They run about $45 per side. I'll take some pics once I pick them up and post part numbers. I am also going to have to figure out where to mount the wiring since there's a bracket welded to the hitch on my OEM one.

Anyone know if an alignment is a standard part of the procedure? My dealership said it wasn’t performed

They can’t take apart your whole front end and not do an alignment. That’s BS and unsafe, call Toyota.

I just dropped mine off today because the rear gas tank strap rusted out and dropped the back half of the tank almost to the ground. Got a rental, they are working on a truck for me. The manager said it could be months before they get the frame in. We will see....

Is the draw tite rated for 6500 lbs? The only ones I found were class iii, only 5000lbs.

The dealership said it wasn’t part of the agreement so I called corporate and they said the same thing so no alignment I guess. I’d like to hear if anyone had one performed as part of this process. So far I’m at discount tire getting my free balance and rotation, after not having my truck for months, got it back 3 days ago and it appears so far That Toyota cross threaded 3 lug nuts and broke the studs. I’m afraid this is just going to be the beginning of my problems.

Just got back from the dealership. After almost 8 weeks in a camry my truck is done! I brought in a lot of parts that I bought from various retailers for much, much cheaper than the dealership was quoting. Including shocks, struts, steering shaft assembly, sway bar links, rotors, calipers, and pads. All total cost me right around $1k in parts and $955 in labor at the dealer. They charged labor for some of the things that they wouldn't have had to take fully apart if I hadn't brought in replacement parts. Toyota ended up with a bill of $11,630.90. Some pictures below of the new frame and other parts.
