Just called the dealership and they said they would. But they acted like they were doing me a favor and that there is no way that couldn’t happened.

An alignment should definitely be done

5000lbs I don't plan on towing a whole lot of weight. If anything, a small utility trailer and looking at maybe getting a small pop up in the future.

Maybe bring them some Bilstein 5100s?

I feel "lucky" that I've replaced my whole suspension (leafs, shocks, front artists, swaybar end links), and upper control arms within the last year and a half. So I don't think I'll have too many incidentals for the frame swap once it's approved.

Picking my truck up from the dealer now...
10,000 miles on the loaner since 8-6-17 and the dealer isn't batting an eye.
I was skeptical using a southern dealer for the swap but let me say, the service and respect from Pitts Toyota has been great.
I dropped my truck off and explained I will not be calling for updates and I didn't care what amount of time it took, just to get it right.
So far so good. I haven't received any paperwork yet but it's coming.
    Updates coming.

I've got an appointment Monday to take care of some of the issues with the truck. Fog lights dont work anymore, and after finding a bunch of shit unplugged, I'm gonna have them do a full once over to make sure they didn't miss anything else.

Given the scope of work and how deep they had to go for repairs, it's not a bad idea to have them go over it thoroughly.

Just a thought, but, Toyota stated if we were not satisfied with the determination of the frame inspection then we could take it to another dealer for a second opinion.
I wonder, if we are not satisfied with the workmanship of repairs done, could we take it to another dealer for thorough inspection of repairs. For instance, nuts, bolts, plugs, etc... :notsure:

So, out the door, complete swap and replacement parts, for a grand total of $0.00.
If everything is good in a week, I'll be returning to the dealer to tip the Tech that did the replacement.
I'm happier than a pig in slop. :yay::woot:

Yeah. If they either can't or won't find the issue then I'll be taking it to another dealer to look at and work on.
